Sunsets in Lagos
Rare and scarce
The skies are gray and peaceful
Oblivious of the chaos down beneath
The honking of road users in traffic jam
A noisy rhythm that is the norm to its inhabitants
The birds heading to their nest to retire
Still more hustle n bustle from ekosians
The pedestrians hurried strides to get to their destinations
The danfo buses in a race to get passengers
The push of crowds to get on the buses
The battle to not be left behind
The hawkers still plying their trade
Yet the skies with it's golden tint
Shows the beauty of creation
The tall buildings barely an hindrance
A telltale sign that the day is come to an end
