Rippling Silence

There is no music anywhere; the silence is deafening.
The elements of the earth bear no brightness; it's all gloomy; the clouds are thick and dark.
It's the daytime but it's like night has come; the stars are missing from the skies like they are in solitary confinement.
The wind is still and not one stir from the leaves on the trees; the beautiful flowers are all drooped, the life in them zapped out by an unknown source.
The muffled cries of the birds are heard; they mourn the loss of the sweet bright nature of one so dear.
The glow and happiness of this being has turned into dimness and misery; it's so pungent and suffocating.
The being seems to wither away slowly; no spark of life; no zeal to live; no hope to strife; even numbness is a scarce commodity.
The pain from within so powerful it rips the earth apart and ripples the water from end to end.
