She moved on the earth's wildness,
Captivated by the unseen beauty of it all.
She was unaware of moving in quicksand;
With every step she sunk deeper and deeper,
The feel of it unknown.
She revelled in the sensation of going under;
Thinking it was bliss,
Unknown to her it was terror unleashed.
In the unravelling, awareness crept in;
She wondered how to get out;
Too late it seemed,
All hope appeeared non-existent.
She saw herself go deeper still;
Her subconscious counselling her,
Revealing to her,
She only was the key to her freedom.
